Our company began as a field maintenance and service organization in the power, chemical, steel mill, and refinery industries in May 1977. Services included work on smokestacks, water towers, flagpoles, steeplejack inspections, with 24-hour emergency service.

Detroit Boiler Company services include design, fabrication, and erection of boiler systems, refuse plants, industrial waste furnaces, stacks, breeching, ductwork, round and rectangular tanks, cupolas, pressure vessels, burner fuel conversion, CSD-1 testing, and many other items related to the above-noted industries.
We are licensed with the State of Michigan, Boiler Division, to install and repair boilers and pressure vessels. We are in possession of the “S”, “U”, and “R” Symbols in accordance with the A.S.M.E. Code, Section I and Section VIII, Division I, and the NBIC Code. Our welders are qualified in accordance with Section XI of the A.S.M.E. Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. We are licensed with the City of Detroit to make boiler repairs, steeplejack inspections, mechanical applications, and much more.
